Case Western Reserve University School of Law Milton A. Kramer Law Clinic Center invites applications from entry-level and lateral candidates for up to two tenure-track or tenured faculty positions

Case Western Reserve University School of Law Milton A. Kramer Law Clinic Center invites applications from entry-level and lateral candidates for up to two tenure-track or tenured faculty positions teaching in the Civil Litigation Clinic and one tenure-track or tenured faculty position in the Health Law Clinic beginning in the 2011-2012 academic year.  We are also considering multi-year visitorships for promising tenure-track candidates. 

To be eligible for a tenured appointment at the rank of Professor of Law, the candidate must have prior law school teaching experience and a distinguished record of scholarship and contributions to the profession consistent with the law school’s established guidelines for tenure.  For tenure-track candidates at the rank of Assistant Professor of Law, we seek individuals with distinguished academic records and at least 3 years of relevant practice experience (which can include practice in a clinical setting).  Tenure-track candidates at the rank of Associate Professor of Law should have impressive academic credentials and work experience, including at least 3 years of relevant practice experience (which can include practice in a clinical setting), and should demonstrate strength in scholarship, including a minimum of two published articles.  The successful candidate preferably will have two years of teaching experience, as well as a strong commitment to clinical legal education and teaching.  Areas of focus for this clinic will be defined, in part, by the interest of faculty joining our program.  To be eligible for a tenured appointment, the candidate must have prior law school teaching experience and a distinguished record of scholarship and contributions to the profession consistent with the law school’s established guidelines for tenure.  Minimum requirement: JD or equivalent from a US or foreign law school.

The Milton A.
