CASE WESTERN RESERVE UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF LAW invites applications from entry-level and lateral candidates for three to five tenure-track or tenured faculty positions beginning August 2011 in a wide variety of subject areas.  To be eligible for a tenured appointment at the rank of Professor of Law, the candidate must have prior law school teaching experience and a distinguished record of scholarship and contributions to the profession consistent with the law school’s established guidelines for tenure.  Tenure-track candidates at the rank of Assistant Professor of Law should have impressive academic credentials and work experience and should demonstrate strength in scholarship and teaching.  Tenure-track candidates at the rank of Associate Professor of Law should have impressive academic credentials and work experience, including at least two years in academia,  and should demonstrate strength in scholarship, including a minimum of two published articles.  Minimum academic requirement:  JD or equivalent from a US or foreign law school.  In employment, as in education, Case Western Reserve University is committed to Equal Opportunity and Diversity.
