Over fifty practitioners, judges, staff attorneys at NGOs, coming from as far away as Boston and Dallas, came to a full day seminar On Becoming a Law Professor. Pamela Edwards, director of the Center for Diversity in the Legal Professor at CUNY Law School, conceived the program that brought the secrets of the academy to a range of practitioners of color.
PALS and Hughes Hubbard & Reed were also co-sponsors. Hughes Hubbard & Reed hosted a lovely reception after the workshop.
There is currently a waiting list for the next program. Contact Hazel Weiser to add your name to the list. Watch this space for copies of the information distributed at the workshop.
