Nomination Statements

Judicial/Governmental Committee Statements:

SALT supports the nomination and confirmation of qualified men and women to serve in the current administration, ending years of abuse of the Rule of Law and the erosion of legitimate government services.  However, when we believe that a nominee does not represent the principles of SALT, we will issue a statement expressing those concerns.

The SALT Board also opposed two non-judicial nominations, that of Alberto Gonzales and Michael B. Musasey to be Attorney General of the United States.
