The Thelton E. Henderson Center for Social Justice on University of California at Berkeley's campus is host to this year's SALT teaching conference: Teaching for Social Change. SALT received over sixty proposals from law professors across the country who wanted to gather together to speak about how to infuse law school curriculum with the tools needed to use the law as an instrument of social change.
SALT encourages you to register for the March 14 & 15 “Teaching for Social Change” conference immediately, and certainly no later than February 29.
Registration fees will climb to $250 on March 1st because of the need to plan for food for the two breakfasts, lunches, and Friday night dinner.
Hotel reservations also require immediate attention in order to take advantage of the SALT conference rate:
• Marriott Oakland City Center has rooms for $129 a night. This block of rooms will only be available for those people who register before February 21st.
