SALT and Other NGOs Confront US Compliance with Convention to Eliminate All Forms of Racial Discrimination in Geneva

Since 1994 the United States has been a signatory to the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination. Periodically the US must file a report demonstrating its compliance with the provisions of the treaty. In December 2007, SALT joined other major human and civil rights organizations contesting US compliance.
