  • CCR seeks a full-time Director, preferably an attorney, to plan, expand, coordinate and oversee its newly created Social Justice Institute (SJI). Since 1987, CCR has trained the next generation of “people's lawyers” through a variety of internships and fellowships, including its renowned Ella Baker Summer Fellowship Program. Through these programs, law students assist CCR attorneys with casework and research while taking part in trainings and educational seminars with activists and scholars. The SJI is an umbrella program through which our fellowships and internships will be coordinated and housed.  Application deadline is January 6, 2012.

  • The Associate Dean for International Affairs provides leadership at the Cornell University Law School for the programs that support the needs, goals and administrative requirements in the fields of international, transnational and comparative law.   Including develop, implement and coordinate institutional initiatives.   Report to the Vice Dean and collaborate with law school administration and faculty, to identify and prioritize goals, including strategic planning, program development, marketing, international scholar and student exchanges, instruction abroad, on and off-campus programs, public relations and represent international legal studies.  Oversee the strategic planning, processes and communications required to implement programs, build effective collaborations and partnerships with other services and organizations within the university, peer institutions in the US and abroad.  The Associate Dean will represent, oversee, develop and have management responsibility for the Clarke Center for International and Comparative Legal Studies and the Berger International Legal Studies Program (in support of the Reich Director of the Berger Program).

  • Public Justice, a national public interest law firm that combines the skills and resources of the private bar with the goals and knowledge of the public interest community, seeks to hire a recent law school graduate to serve as its Brayton-Thornton Attorney for two years in either its Washington, D.C. headquarters or its Oakland, California office.  The Fellow will help develop, coordinate the handling of, and litigate Public Justice’s cases.  The position will be open beginning in November 2011.

  • The Mississippi Center for Justice seeks applicants for an AmeriCorps Legal Fellow position to be funded by the Corporation for National and Community Service (administered by Equal Justice Works) and the Mississippi Center for Justice (MCJ).
