Can You See Me?
SALT’s most recent Social Justice in Action Webinar occurred on March 26, 2021, addressing the myriad stressors contributing to disparate bar pass outcomes that deprive the legal profession of much needed diversity. Some of those stressors are the costs, content, and cut scores of the bar exam; others manifest in the law school classroom.
Panelists Octavia Carson, Areeb Been Khan, Victor Quintanilla, Heidi Williams, Pernell Jackson, and Tahir Duckett discussed how we can challenge and mitigate these stressors without exacerbating stereotype threat, with Marsha Griggs and Joan Howarth moderating.
