In the week of the UN Committee Against Torture review of the United States for the first time since 2006, President Obama is out of the country, George Bush has a book out about his father that he is hawking on Face the Nation, Today, and Fox News, and Condoleezza Rice is back on television defending “robust” leadership.

Just a coincidence no doubt. But, it does look like a great deal of whistling past the graveyard.
