From what I heard of the meeting, among other things, Committee member Mohdvig from Denmark asked the United States Government delegation about accountability for senior US officials and the lawyers with regard to the torture.  Questions were also asked about the extent of the John Durham investigation and in particular the lack of interviewing of any detainees about the torture that they suffered in US custody.  The question of whether the United States obligations were seen to include places where it has either de jure or de facto jurisdiction.

Many more questions were asked by all of the committee members in the short two hour session even reaching the issue of drones in Yemen and their affect on women and children there.

So the question has been asked, we now await the US Government’s response tomorrow.
