What would you advise?

If you were a legal advisor to Shirley Sherrod, would you advise her to accept a new job at the Department of Agriculture? Would you advise her to just accept the apology and promotion, and get back to the work to which she has dedicated her career? Would you advise her to use the notoriety and the freedom she now has outside the government and perhaps urge her to write the personal narrative interweaving her own story, including her father’s tragic murder in front of the family, with the plight of black farmers subjected to systemic discrimination by the US government for decade?. Would you help her seek a major publisher to now print and promote the story? What about in depth thoughtful media interviews? If she gets another chance to speak to or to meet with President Obama, what would you advise her to really say?
